Oakbridge is taking part in the Shelter Trust Soup Kitchen in Jersey in December.
The annual event raises money for the homeless in Jersey and is celebrating its silver anniversary. In 2022 the event raised £19,000 and this year’s target is £25,000 in celebration of the 25th year.
The soup kitchen taking place on Tuesday 12th December and is based in Royal Square serving delicious mugs of soup and bread for a minimum donation.
Oakbridge is taking part for the second year and has partnered with the Beresford Street Kitchen to produce a delicious leek, potato & pea potage.
Robin Wilson, Oakbridge Managing Director – Funds said: “We really enjoyed taking part in the event last year, there was an amazing atmosphere and it’s wonderful to be able to do something relatively easy that makes such a difference locally.”
There will be lots of other soup on offer too, provided by the island’s leading restaurants.
All proceeds from the event go to The Shelter Trust in Jersey.
