In the spirit of fostering connection and spreading joy this festive season, the Oakglen Group celebrated a collaborative Christmas event that not only brought colleagues together from across the business but also exemplified the company’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community. The event saw around 60 colleagues from the wider group come together in London on 14 December 2023; Oakglen Wealth Jersey, Oakglen Wealth UK, Oakbridge and real estate subsidiary LBS Properties.
This year, Oakglen decided to forgo the traditional route of sending Christmas cards and, instead, directed those resources towards more charitable endeavours. We are therefore donating to the Williams Syndrome Foundation to support the fantastic work they do in promoting research and raising public awareness, and providing all types of support to families, carers and those with Williams syndrome. The decision reflects our ongoing dedication to creating a meaningful impact, aligning with the true essence of the holiday season.
The company’s Christmas event was a delightful affair, capturing the essence of camaraderie and unity. Colleagues from various departments gathered to share laughter, stories, and the joy of the season. The event not only strengthened professional bonds but also highlighted the importance of a close-knit work community. We’ve compiled a series of photos, showcasing the fun, laughter, and genuine connections made across the group for you.

In line with Oakglen’s commitment to social responsibility, we are also thrilled to announce the charities we will be supporting in 2024. Our chosen organisations embody the values we hold dear, focusing on causes that make a real difference in the lives of others.
Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)
GOSH’s mission is to put the child first and always. This has been the same since the hospital’s inception in 1852. The hospital aims to deliver world-class clinical care to the children they treat and undertake innovative research that will lead to new and improved treatments for children everywhere. The hospital’s vision to enhance its ability to transform the health and wellbeing of children and young people, giving them the best chance to fulfil their potential.
Macmillan Cancer Support
Macmillan Cancer Support’s mission is to reach and improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer. They aim to do this by providing medical, practical, emotional or financial support and pushing for better cancer care. Their mission statement is “We put the needs of people living with cancer first, which takes real strength. We’re not expecting any one person to be unbreakable – we all have a part of play and together we are stronger.”
As we embark on the new year, Oakbridge and the entire Oakglen Group look forward to continuing our tradition of giving back and making a positive impact on the world around us. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients and professional partners for their continued support, and we are excited to share this journey with you. Here’s to a joyous festive season and a prosperous New Year filled with shared success and meaningful contributions.
